Charming décor throughout the hotel created a lovely atmosphere. The location was absolutely ideal, just a stone’s throw from the marina and the old town, perfect for evening strolls. The room was clean, spacious, and had efficient air conditioning. Breakfast served great quality food with healthy options, especially when booked directly, a terrific way to start the day. However, the room could have benefited from more attention. the furniture, including a damaged nightstand, felt outdated and didn’t match the hotel’s otherwise pleasant aesthetics. The Wi-Fi connectivity was spotty, making it hard to stay connected. While the staff were generally helpful, one particular interaction with a staff member left much to be desired. His rude demeanor during a straightforward inquiry was quite surprising. Lastly, the lack of a lounge area or bar limited options for relaxation within the hotel itself.

i truly had such high hopes for this hotel, but alas, my dreams were dashed. the man at the reception was beyond rude—seriously, how can anyone treat guests like that? oh, and don't even get me started on the tired, 1960’s convent vibe of the room. i expected a complimentary upgrade for putting up with all this, but instead got nothing. disappointing, really!

The hotel is situated in a vibrant area, providing easy access to local attractions and the sandy beach, perfect for exploration.
I found the air conditioning system controlled from reception to be inconvenient. it would have been better to have in-room control.

Charming stay in central Gijon
This elegant hotel offered a delightful experience. The welcoming breakfast staff and clean, well-maintained rooms added to the enjoyable atmosphere. A lovely spot directly by the old town!
While most aspects were satisfying, I found the air conditioning to be a bit unpredictable and the bedding slightly hard for comfort. A kettle in the room would also have been a nice touch.

The hotel needs upgraded air conditioning!!! The bathrooms show signs of wear and inadequate maintenance!!! The exterior appearance is outdated and doesn't reflect modern standards!!! Poor sound insulation leads to an uncomfortable stay!!!
